“7bet Rally Lazdijai” did not forget the most important thing: after the rally, the roads will be maintained by professionals
Already on May 17-18, the “7bet Rally Lazdijai” competition will take place in the vicinity of Lazdijai, which will become the prologue of the Lithuanian automobile rally championship. Applications to participate in the first stage of the season have already been submitted by more than 60 crews, whose ranks include not only the rally elite of our country, but also guests from foreign countries.
Such racers as Martynas Samsonas, Vladas Jurkevičius, Giedrius Notkus, Rokas Steponavičius or Nedas Radišauskas have expressed their desire to participate in the “7bet Rally Lazdijai” competition. A large delegation of participants also comes here with N5 category cars. The championship debut of Irmantas Buivydas, who switched from the R2 car to the N5 technique, is eagerly awaited.
Racers from foreign countries – Estonia, Latvia, Poland and Ukraine – will also take part in the “7bet Rally Lazdijai” competition. The list of participants is being filled every day, and Vaidotas Žala, who spoke half-heartedly about his intentions to start in Lazdijai, who became the absolute winner of “7bet Rally Lazdijai” last year, may appear in it at any moment. You can find the list of currently registered participants here.
RALLY POSTER
According to the representatives of the “Marimotors Racing” team, which organizes the rally, preparations for the competition are already in full swing. The organizers do not hide that one, really big job has already been done to the end – to find, inspect and approve the special stages that will be raced by the crews participating in the “7bet Rally Lazdijai” competition this year, and the road book has been compiled.
By the way, “Marimotors Racing” did not forget one more, very important nuance – cleaning the roads after the competition. Since this topic is perhaps the most sensitive and constantly causes concern to local residents, what will be left on the road after the rally, the organizers looked for the best possible solution to prevent inconvenience. We joined hands with AB “Keliu prieziura (JSC Road maintenance)”, which became one of the main partners of the “7bet Rally Lazdijai” competition and undertook to fix all the roads on which the rally will take place immediately after the event.
“In rallying, the roads and their quality when the race is over are very important. We understand that the rally is not only fun for the locals, but also a temporary inconvenience, so we want to leave all the roads as we found them and for this reason we choose the best ones. This year, a very strong partner joined our team – “Road maintenance”. They are top-level professionals who know their job. They will repair the roads immediately after the special stages, if the weather conditions allow, because the roads are not repaired during rain or torrential rain. However, if the weather is favorable, the road handling equipment will move to the respective special stages after the last start of the car. We really believe and trust the company “Road maintenance” because they know very well what a well-maintained gravel road looks like,” said Ronaldas Rutkauskas, one of the organizers of “7bet Rally Lazdijai”.
Since the rally competition is closely related to the promotion of safe traffic, “Road maintenance” is preparing one breath-taking surprise for all the rally fans gathered in Lazdijai. On the days of the competition, crash simulators will be brought here, where everyone can try and understand how important seat belts are during an accident.
“Road safety is one of the strategic directions of “Road maintenance”, so we want to remind viewers of the importance of safety and responsibility while driving. During the event, we will invite guests to try the simulator that simulates a rollover with a car, which will allow you to understand how a person who has been in a traffic accident feels. “Road maintenance” wishes the participants of the rally a successful start, and the spectators of the event – unforgettable emotions!” said Gintarė Žilinskienė, head of external communication projects of “Road maintenance”.
